The Educational Resource Kit was developed with the cooperation of teachers at UNESCO project schools.

The Swiss Commission for UNESCO has a number of copies in German and French that it can send to teachers in Switzerland.

Requests should be sent by e-mail. Please state the name of the school, the teaching level and the address.

This is also available online in French, English and other languages.

In Zentrum der Werkstatt für den Geographieunterricht der Sekundarstufe II steht die Sensibilisierung der Schülerinnen und Schüler für die Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehung in der alpinen Region Jungfrau-Aletsch. Das UNESCO Welterbe wird aus der Perspektive der beteiligten Talschaften beleuchtet und die unterschiedlichen Erwartungen werden aufgezeigt.

The Rhaetian Railway, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since July 2008, has been made more accessible for schools. The Rhaetian Railway has prepared a set of project material (19 modules) on the UNESCO World Heritage railway for the use of teachers, which is designed to help school students to get to know the railway better.

The UNESCO World Heritage map 2009-2010 presents the 890 World Heritage sites in 148 countries. Using photographs and brief explanations, it outlines the goals of the World Heritage Convention consisting in the protection of cultural and natural sites of outstanding universal value as part of the common heritage of humankind.
